Wrinkle-Free Shirts That Make an Impression
No one wants to look like they’ve slept in their clothes. Follow these easy steps to keep your shirts crisp and sharp.
1. Check the Shirt’s Label
Cotton and cotton blends tolerate higher heat, while polyester blends need cooler settings. Always check the label. When unsure, start low and increase until wrinkles respond.
2. Is It Clean?
Never iron over stains. Use a powerful detergent like Eco-SaafAutomatic Power Gel Original and pair with fabric softener such as Downy for freshness and care.
3. Press the Collar
Iron the underside first, from center outwards, then flip and repeat on the top side for a crisp finish.
4. Press the Shoulders
Place the shoulder over the ironing board tip and iron from yoke to center back. Repeat on the other side.
5. Press the Cuffs
Lay sleeves flat with buttons facing up. Iron the inside of the cuff first, then flip and iron the outside.
6. Press the Sleeves
Smooth out creases and iron both the front and back of each sleeve evenly.
7. Press the Front and Back
Iron the front panels carefully around buttons. Flip the shirt and finish with the back panel.
